MoneyTalk is a digital wallet mobile app developed by
Belize eWallet that greatly facilitates payments between buyer and seller.
It’s an online account where you can manage your money just as you would with a normal wallet.
As easily a sou take some cash with you or you grab your credit/debit card, depending on the situation, you place it in your wallet, and start spending. The same applies to a digital wallet. After you’ve created your account following some simple steps you can top-up your ewallet by adding funds via a variety of sources.
Step 1: Customer Onboarding
When you first use the MoneyTalk app, there will be some limitations. To unlock and use it at its full potential, you will need to go through the verification process, necessary given today’s Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) legislation. It won’t take long though; once you provided the Belize eWallet with your ID and proof of residence, you will set up your own limits, .
Step 2: Add Money to MoneyTalk
Users can add and store funds to MoneyTalk digital wallet to use for online services and payments. The reason they do credit their e-wallet is that it allows them to send money or pay bills instantly by just entering a PIN, Retina Scan, or fingerprint authentication.
Step 3: Send and Receive Funds
It allows the users to send and receive money through the application. The users can enter the recipient phone number or they could scan the barcode of the recipient’s application to send money. We also integrate QR code, NFC and beacon technologies to allow users to send funds or to pay for services. In the same manner, the user can receive money from other users. Users can also send payment requests to other users for incoming fund transfers. Once the payment is sent, these funds are instantly available.
